These will resist an asphalt side pretty good, the leather is thicker than I expected. The leather is soft and plyable and will work out well over time so that they will fit to the body rather than remain ridgig. We are not bikers but are using these as charachter wear when we need to go out and have fun. They are long so that they can be cut to height. I ordered a size up and that was a good thing so it can fit well over denim or canvas pants, if I hadnt they might be worn Village People style with a jock beneath and that would be fine as well as long as the event is accepting of some butt cheeks.
The chaps are well made and feel much better than ones we looked at a few years ago at a lether store.

These appear to be very good quality, super soft leather, not like wearing a ball glove. The zippers and snaps are not cheap junk either.

I like the leather chaps but the leather looked worn and rough. I normally wear a L to XL. The large was extremely long and it will also depend on your height! I’m 4’11 and it was extremely long!!!

This is real leather, good quality with pockets! I followed their sizing chart, almost perfect fit. Only slightly small, but maybe they will stretch a little. Length is long but they fold inward to hide that. If I were to order again I would go one size up from what they recommend. Otherwise they look great.

The Daniel Smart Motorcycle Leather Chaps, are wonderful, they fit me a bit bigger than i was expecting, but i am working on getting them to fit me the way i need them to around the waist, i did have to cut a bit off the bottom to fit my leggs better and i used the part i cut off as a leather bracelett. so i got two from one.
they have deep pockets so i dont have to worry about loosing anything out of them when riding. they fold up nicely when not wearing them.
i have had several friends ask where they can order them from and they said they are going tobe placing orders for these very soon.
they are very comfortable and i can easily move in them with no issues at all.
if i could give these chaps 20 starts you bet i would. but they are amaizng.

I bought these after several measurement's of my body with a seamstress tape. It fits very close to what I expected. Make sure you account for the other garments your planning on wearing under the chaps and adjust your sizing accordingly.
Chaps are long and unfinished on the bottom so they can be altered for your height. A good pair of shears should be able to take care the work if you want to take care of it your self.

Fits at least two sizes small . Nice removable liner . Removable piece in the back to make waist larger or smaller . Length is longer so have to tuck under

Ordered a large, I’m 6’ 220, fits in the waist, but the thigh is tighter than expected. Should stretch out over time I hope. Well made and lined, which is a bonus. Worth the price.

Love the chaps, nice quality leather. The only thing is, I’m an extra large and I should’ve ordered the double XL. If I cut the lights off to fit me, I won’t have any buttons at the bottom. I have to takeoff about 8 inches. The inner thigh part is too tight. So make sure you order a size bigger.
