DS199 Whiskey

I had been looking for a leather vest for warm weather riding on my motorcycle. Most of the vests I had seen were just the usual plain vests that most manufacturers offer. I had come across the First Manufacturing brand and liked the vests and options that were available in their custom vest section on their website. After selecting the options I wanted, their vest would have cost me between $340 to $400 dollars. Luckily I stumbled upon the Daniel Smart brand on Amazon. I was not familiar with this brand but their vest had almost all of the features I was interested in. At the time I was looking there was a coupon being offered and I purchased the Daniel Smart vest for a third of the cost of the First Manufacturing vest. When my vest arrived I was amazed at the quality of this vest. The leather quality is fantastic and it is put together extremely well. The sizing was perfect for me and fit as expected. The zipper is a quality YKK zipper. There are two zippered handwarmer side pockets and an expansion zipper for when you sit down on each side of the vest. The vest has a very large inside pocket on each side, one of which is accessible when the vest is zippered. There are also two chest pockets that snap closed and all snaps on the vest are metallic as well. In my opinion this vest is on par with the custom vest I had seen on the First Manufacturing website. The quality of the leather and the features are excellent and the price with the coupon made it an unbelievable deal. This vest has exceeded my expectations and I would absolutely purchase this vest again
