True to size chart, so you want to measure yourself and know your actual measurements to order based on their chart. Don’t guess, you’ll be annoyed when it has no stretch at all and you have to send it back and reorder. And you will reorder, because this is a great vest and you can’t beat the price. Stitching is nice and strong, the denim/canvas like material is great. The back is one solid piece which is nice if you’re planning patches. The internal pockets are large, and easy to access. It does have a zipper, and then snap closures as well. Overall, I’m super happy with the vest. I am 5’9” and 200#. Bust measures 44” exactly and I went with a XXL.

I tried several vests before settling on this one. Two leather vests were sent back from this company, no fault of theirs, both were quality but not what I needed for Florida MC club vest. This one is very nice, heavy, dark black denim, true to size with room to grow due to side laces. The outside pockets will fit hands but I’d be careful with your phone. There is a nice big phone pocket along with the cc pockets which seem adequate although not tested. This style is unique, with the buttons and zipper. I found I could fold back the collar to make sort of a blazer looking v-neck which is slightly cooler for summer (we do a lot of volunteer activities in the FL heat) but in chillier weather it will be nice to zip up against the wind. I know it’s not waterproof for the inevitable rain so I’m hoping at least the color won’t run when it gets soaked. I have not tried to sew patches yet, it’s heavy denim, but it should be easier than leather. I’ll note that I also bought a denim vest from Daniel Smart for hubby and he likes his as well.

I was so excited to get my vest only to find out it’s made smaller than the typical sizing. I’m an L/XL so I bought this in XXL just in case and it did NOT close in the chest area. Everything else was fine except that. **Update: I contacted the seller and they immediately made a switch and sent me a larger size. They were real quick to respond and get me the correct item. I’m very happy with their service and product.
